Established in 1997, Independently Operating Since 2009
Cimation has been operating independently since January 2009, spinning off Audubon Engineering’s Automation Department located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Prior to forming Cimation, Audubon Engineering’s Automation Department had been executing greenfield and brownfield process automation projects for the upstream oil & gas industry since 2000. These projects were primarily focused on Gulf of Mexico Operators utilizing various PLC and HMI vendors for process control and safety systems.
We decided to spin off Cimation in order to rebrand as an automation and industrial IT focused company, and restructure with new leadership focused on growth and industry specific technology. Cimation’s founders are Jonathan Klein, Luis Luque, Jarrod Van Hoogstraten and Ryan Hanemann.
