Established in 2009, Fresh Ideas
Cimation has been operating independently since January 2009, spinning off Audubon Engineering’s Automation Department located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Prior to forming Cimation, Audubon Engineering’s Automation Department had been executing greenfield and brownfield process automation projects for the upstream oil & gas industry since 2000. These projects were primarily focused on Gulf of Mexico operations utilizing various PLC and HMI vendors for process control and safety systems.
Cimation was spun off in order to rebrand as an automation and industrial IT focused company, and restructure with new leadership focused on growth and industry specific technology. Cimation’s founders are Jonathan Klein, Luis Luque, Jarrod Van Hoogstraten, and Ryan Hanemann.
Cimation is headquartered in Houston, TX with offices operating in New Orleans, LA; Denver, CO; Pittsburgh, PA and Lafayette, LA, encompassing a workforce of experienced professionals.
